Police Investigating Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident

The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist early Friday morning. The accident on Airline Highway near Old Hammond Highway occurred just before 1 a.m.
The vehicle that hit the motorcyclist fled the scene and witnesses reported seeing a car drive off. It is believed that the vehicle may have been a Chrysler 300 or something similar and that it was red or maroon in color. The vehicle may have damage in the front.
