Car accidents in movies are a plenty whether they are minor ones or those that end up life-changing. Although accidents have changed as movie audiences want bigger, better, and flashier collisions some accidents still stand the test of time.
Here are some of the top 10 scariest car accidents in movie history.
Would you expect that a movie based on vehicles that transform into intergalactic robots to not have a few car crashes? In the third installment of this popular movie series, a highway chase ended with 532 cars destroyed. Luckily all the vehicles had been donated because they were flood damaged and had to be scrapped anyway.

In the movie Michael Bay brought most everyone’s worst nightmare to life. Vehicles being transported on a semi-trailer were cut loose leading to dozens of mangled cars all the while a shootout is occurring.

Seeing a horrific multi-vehicle crash before it happens is ultimately life-saving, but only for so long.
Not only is a difficult to choose which terminator movie to feature, it is difficult to decide which car crash scene to feature. The classic semi-trailer accident wins out however the crane driving through a city and demolishing cars and buildings in Terminator 3 comes in close second.
