Typhoon Haiyan Levels Tacloban City

After hitting land in the south Pacific Philippines last Friday, November 8, Typhoon Haiyan carved a path of destruction that left an estimated 10,000 people dead and hundreds of thousands without homes.
Simien & Simien would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to those injured and displaced by the disaster. The unprecedented strength and magnitude of Haiyan has brought grief and desperation to all those affected by the storm, and we understand how difficult it can be for families to deal with a natural disaster of such epic proportions.
Images of Tacloban City before the storm make those taken afterward even more shocking. United Nations reports on the aftermath of the storm describe Tacloban City as a place of increasingly lawlessness as survivors are fighting for supplies and relief from the devastation.
